Bisco Tescera ATL II Indirect Composite System – Laboratory Composite
The first and only indirect composite system developed for Tescera that applies pressure to layered composites before polymerization with heat and light under water.
Aqua, Thermal, Light (ATL) indirect composite restorative system: layered composites undergo pre-polymerization with pressure and light in a unique process.
Final polymerization takes place under water in an oxygen-free environment with heat, light, and pressure.
This design helps reduce risks such as porosity, air bubbles, and polymerization shrinkage.
Product features
TESCERA™ ATL™ II supports translucent, aesthetic, durable indirect composite restorations with improved physical and surface properties suited to natural dentition.
- Helps prevent porosity, air bubbles, and polymerization shrinkage
- Excellent marginal adaptation, minimal postoperative sensitivity, ideal aesthetics and cusp support
- Easier ideal contour and contact with adjacent and opposing teeth
- Unlike ceramic restorations, does not cause wear on the opposing arch
- Intraoral finishing and polishing are easier than ceramics; repairs are possible
- Optical properties close to natural teeth
- Allows indirect restorations with minimal healthy tissue removal versus conventional approaches
- Significantly reduces the need for metal in indirect restorations
- Fast, easy, and safe — no complex equipment or nitrogen tanks required
