Tofflemire Matrix Retainer — matrix band stabilization in Class II restorations. A dental instrument used by dentists especially to facilitate matrix band applications in Class II cavities in the posterior region. It supports stable adaptation of the matrix band to the cavity, preventing unwanted overflow of restorative material and loss of contact with the adjacent tooth.
