Area-specific curettes for removal of deep subgingival calculus and finishing of subgingival root surfaces.
Usage tip
Place one-third to one-half of the Gracey cutting edge against the tooth surface (the larger outer curve is always the cutting edge). Keep the lower shank parallel to the tooth surface. Apply moderate pressure for scaling and light lateral pressure for root planing; activate with vertical, diagonal or horizontal strokes.
