VDW Reciproc Gutta Percha Point

A new product from VDW: the RECIPROC single-file root canal treatment system. It works similarly to the Balance Force concept. In Balance Force the file rotates clockwise first, then counterclockwise. With Reciproc, the file rotates counterclockwise for 2 steps first, then 1 step clockwise. In reciprocation the file turns in the cutting direction first, then reverses so binding is prevented.

Reciprocation angles for RECIPROC files and the VDW.SILVER RECIPROC motor are fully and specifically designed. A few reciprocation movements complete a full 360° rotation.

RECIPROC File Design

• Designed for reciprocation with non-cutting tips
• Made of M-Wire nickel-titanium — compared with conventional NiTi, M-Wire increases resistance to metal fatigue and adds flexibility

VDW.SILVER RECIPROC Motor

• Endodontic motor developed for reciprocation; also works with rotary NiTi systems
• Preset programs for RECIPROC and WaveOne reciprocation systems, and FlexMaster and ProTaper rotary systems
• Dr.’s Choice program can store 15 additional torque/speed values
