The appliance can also be used in late mixed dentition or early permanent dentition. LM Activator is designed in different sizes to support ideal occlusion form.

Treatment usually starts when the first permanent lower incisors erupt. Functional appliances are shaped in different sizes to meet ideal occlusion.

Use

• Daytime use continues until alloocclusion is corrected
• Total two hours of daytime wear can be split into sessions of at least 30 minutes each
• Retention and end of active treatment depend on the individual patient
• With a retrusive mandible or deep bite, night use should continue until the pubertal growth spurt ends
