Lab notes
- Use a high-accuracy scanner and design according to clinical requirements
- For all-ceramic restorations, minimum thickness should not be below 0.6 mm
- Connector geometry is key to fracture resistance; connector cross-section at least 9 mm2 preferred
- On posterior bridges, prefer no more than two pontics
- Mill with fresh burs; avoid cooling water during shaping when recommended by the protocol
