RECIPROC from VDW is a single-file canal treatment system that works in a similar way to the balanced-force concept.

In balanced force, the file turns clockwise then anticlockwise. With Reciproc, the file turns two steps anticlockwise then one step clockwise.

In reciprocation the file first rotates in the cutting direction, then reverses to help prevent binding.

Reciprocation angles for RECIPROC files and the VDW.SILVER RECIPROC motor are specifically designed as a matched pair.
